Customizing the Map with Intention

A custom JSON style was used over google maps to ensure our maps honor our color system, allow us to control how much contrast elements maintain and lend focus primarily to the information on top of it. The custom style allowed us to highlight roads and highways and subdue attention to certain POIs and topological information.
